House rules

A house that has run on good manners since 1986 needs few rules. These are the ones that matter. By visiting you accept them; the host explains anything that is unclear on arrival.

Age and admission

Guests must be 21 or older. We may ask for identification. Admission is at the discretion of the host; we reserve the right to refuse or end a visit, without giving reasons, when the atmosphere of the house or the comfort of the people in it asks for that. Visibly intoxicated guests are not admitted.

Conduct

Respect for the women and for staff is the condition for everything else. The women decide what they offer and to whom; a no is a no, at every moment. Aggression, pressure or disrespect ends the visit immediately. What the women do not offer, we do not arrange.

Discretion

No photography, filming or recording inside the house, of anyone. What happens here stays here, for you and for everyone else. We keep no guest register.

Dress code

Smart-casual or better: what you would wear to a quiet restaurant in the evening. No sportswear, no caps, no shorts.

Payment

Everything is settled in the venue, in cash, by debit card or by credit card. There are no online payments, deposits or reservations, and we do not publish prices; the host explains them at the bar before anything is agreed.

Licensing

Club Golden Key operates under exploitatievergunning ASD 1054 CJ/B002, issued by Gemeente Amsterdam, and is subject to municipal inspection. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 33186972.

Liability and law
